Carrillon, organ and harbour music
I would like to invite you
- to walk alongside the Royal Way - the way of kings coming to Gdansk in the past,
- to see the nice houses of Gdańsk patricians who came to Gdańsk from Germany, Nederlands, Scotland, England and the most important places in the past like Artus Court the place of brotherhoods meeting, St. Mary's Church - te biggest church made of brick in the world, Old Crane from XV cent. ,
- to listen to carillon music played every hour for Gdańsk citizens and their guests,
- to listen to 20 min. XVIII cent. organ music presentation in Oliwa Cathedral.
- to take a water tram to/from Wisłoujście Fortress and to listen on the way to the harbour sounds.
This part is available from May to the end of August.
XIV cent. Wisłoujście Fortress situated at the Vistula outlet, rebuilt in XVII cent. by Italian and Dutch architecs, witnessed many important events in its history and is one of the most attractive military object.
Tour can be modified according to our mutual agreement.
Among others you will see the main objects in the Old Gdansk: the Upland Gate, Golden Gate, Coal Market, Długa Street, Uphagen House, Main Town Hall, Neptune Fountain, Artus Court, Mariacka Street, St. Mary's Church, Old Crane, Great Armoury.
Entrances to: Oliwa Cathedral, St. Mary's Church,
Wisłoujście Fortress (May-September except Monday). October-April outside seeing).
In option: water tram trip to/from Wisłoujście Fortress in summer season
Coffe/tea/lunch brake at your request.
Programme can be modified and the entrance to other chosen objects like: Main Town Hall, Amber Museum, Uphagen House or others can be included additionally.
If the agreed changes affect the tour time prolongation additional price USD 35/hr to be paid at the end of the tour.
Please note that museums and Fortress are closed on Monday and either Artus Court/Main Town Hall Oliwa Cathedral/ St. Mary's can be closed due to official meetings/masses.
In such case the entrance to other museum or object will be suggested and agreed
Meeting Location + Tour Duration
Meeting location: We can meet in front of the Green Gate (Długi Targ Street),at the entrance to Oliwa Cathedral, at the reception of your hotel in Tricity (Gdańsk, Sopot or Gdynia),
at Gdansk Airport,
or in Gdańsk/Gdynia harbour.
I will keep in my hands the sign board with your name and I'll have my guide ID.
End location: In Gdańsk Oliwa or in Gdańsk centre.
Other end location to be agreed.
Duration: 6 hours
The duration can be affected by weather, crowds, many visitors in museums, lack of places in water tram etc. In case of bad weather conditions programme can be changed a little bit.
Walking and car.
Please note that objects mentioned in Old Town are located close to each other and transport is not necessary.
This part is walking part only.
If visa to Poland is required all visa formalities also related to ashore (according to Polish law) should be dealt before the coming to Poland and/or start the cruiser journey.
Visas for citizens of about 90 countries are not required.
English speaking guide service and transport cost to the end location.
In case of ship may not dock and guide bear some cost (like ordered car, events...) pricing will be negotiated and agreed.

130 PLN - (about USD 43,-). Tickets for water tram - 10,- adults / 5,- children /person

Lunch - PLN 30-60.
Glass of beer - PLN 5-12,
cup of tea - PLN 4-6, coffe 6-8.
Toilets - PLN 2-3.
Water tram/person - PLN 10,-/adults, children PLN 5,-
Entrance to the Fortress - PLN 12,-/6,- person
Entrance to museums - abt PLN 10,-/5,-person,
