A half day in Windsor Castle with an official castle guide.

Come on a journey of Royal history, ceremony and tradition. Learn about England's Royal lineage with a visit to the world's most famous castle, home to the Kings and Queens of England for nearly a thousand years.

Set on the banks of the Thames th magnificent castle overlooks the towns of Windsor and Eton. Stroll through 10000 years of history as we take a tour through the Queen's preferred residence.

Windsor castle is a must see for those visiting London and can easily be done in a half day. My tour runs in the afternoon at 1pm enabling you to make the most out of your time in London with the winter light. We will return to the city at around 6pm. Alternatively we can do the tour in the morning should you choose.

This tour is perfect for those wishing to maximise their day with a London experience followed by some time in the leafy suburbs of Windsor. For those with little time in the capital this is a great option.

Meet at London Waterloo

Journey by train to Windsor through the green, leafy suburbs of West London.

Stroll the short distance from the station to the castle.

Enter the castle's grounds where we will spend a couple of hours exploring the grounds at Her Majesty's pleasure.

Visit includes queen Mary's dolls house, St. Georges chapel and the state rooms.

After the tour we can return to London or take a stroll around Windsor's beautiful old town, all of course depending on your preferences.

Meeting Location + Tour Duration

Meeting location: I will meet you under the large clock in Waterloo station. The clock is suspended from the ceiling of the main concourse of the station and is easy to locate.

End location: The tour will end back at Waterloo station or at a place of your choosing. Alternatively you may wish to stay in Windsor for dinner.
