Düsseldorfs City Center combined with Medienhafen, Kaiserswerth and/or Shopping
This one day program combines a walk of the old center with other destinations of your choice. You can visit Kaiserswerth and/or the Medienhafen, but we can also trade one of those destinations in for a shopping spree along Königsallee or the chique shops of Carlstadt. Consult my other walks and make your choice!
I can transport groups of 2-3 in my compact private car. Larger groups I can transport in a rental car at additional cost. We can also use public transport at additional cost.
The tour will also include time for lunch. Düsseldorf has an enormous choice of great restaurants from all over the world, but also traditional German restaurants.
The itinerary strongly depends on your preferences but I suggest we start with a walk through the Altstadt followed by lunch in a restaurant of your choice. Early afternoon I take you around in my car (or a rented vehicle at additional cost) and we visit the Medienhafen. Finally I take you to Kaiserswerth and we stroll through this mediëval town. The last part (Kaiserswerth) can also be replace by a shopping spree on Königsallee or a tour of Breweries and Bars back in the Altstadt.
Meeting Point + Tour Duration
Meeting Point Options: Rail or Bus Station, Airport, Hotel, Address or Intersection
End Point Options: Rail or Bus Station, Airport, Hotel, Address or Intersection
Duration: 8 hours
Waiting time at the airport and transportation from and to the airport may cause loss of time and make it impossible to complete the full program in 8 hours.
Up to 3 people can be transported in my private vehicle. Be prepared for a modern compact European car! If a more spacious car is needed it will have to be rented at additional cost to be added to the tour total price. This also applies to groups larger than three participants. As an alternative we can use the excellent Dusseldorf public transport.
Estimated Local Cash Needed
20 euro - Cost of lunch. We can go lower and have a 5 euro falafel on the market, or a 10 euro schnitzel at Schweine Janes, but we can also go much higher in a chique restaurant, it's up to you.
A rental car will raise the price as will public local transport.
