Full day tour with snorkeling and shore excursions including a picnic lunch on a private beach

Take in the beauty of the bush clad islands on the way to the Iconic Whitehaven beach, as we have no specific timetable we can stop for you whenever you like to either take some pictures, stop for a snorkel or swim, go ashore for a walk through the rainforest or visit a stunning lookout.

During the day you will hear about the history of the regions settlement by the traditional owners and arrival of the European settlers, as well as it's diverse Flora and Fauna and the impacts that are happening due to climate change.

Our tour can be easily modified or tailored to our guests requests.

Itinerary

This tour departs from Abell Point Marina at Airlie beach at around 9. 00 am, traveling across the Whitsunday passage in a clockwise route around Whitsunday island, stopping at a snorkel location such as Hook passage or Border island and then on to Whitehaven Beach.

We will also visit one of the many observation lookouts available, depending on the tide and weather conditions on the day. After enjoying your delicious lunch on a quiet, deserted beach then off for another swim or snorkel if you wish.

We will then slowly make our way back to Airlie beach, going past Chance Bay, Pentecost, Hamilton and Daydream islands, arriving back at around 4. 30 pm.

You can stay as long or as little at any given location that you want and visit the best places when the crowds have gone.

This tour is sometimes done in reverse to maximise the best locations for snorkeling and time ashore.

Between July and September we are also likely to see the magnificent Humpback whales that are here on their annual migration.
