walk and boat tour
During the tour we will walk around the very centre of Gdańsk to see the main and the most popular objects like the Royal Way, Old Harbour, Great Armoury, Great Mill, St. Mary's Church and then we will take a boat to Westerplatte.
During the boat trip you will have the opportunity to see the Main Town from river Motława side, Dead Vistula River, shipyards and harbour.
By boat we reach the place where one of the first shots during WWI were given.
The place where 207 soldiers having 1 field gun of 75 mm, 2 anti-tanks guns of 37 mm, 4 mortars of 81 mm, 18 heavy machine guns, 17 hand machine guns, 6 submarine guns, 160 rifles, fought 7 days against Schlezwig Holstein warship having 4 guns of 280mm, 10 guns of 150mm, 4 guns of 88mm and 770 crew members, other destroyers and forces having about 3000 soldiers.
On the spot we will see the small cementary of the fallen 14 soldiers during the fighting, barracks, guard outposts, field outposts, monument.
On demand the entrance to the chosen museums can be added.
Among others we will walk to see the main objects in Old Gdansk: the Great Mill, Old Town Hall, Great Armoury, Golden Gate, Długa Street, Uphagen House, Main Town Hall, Neptune Fountain, Artus Court, Mariacka Street, St. Mary's Church, Old Crane, Great Armoury.

Boat trip to Westerplatte April - September. Subject of weather
On Westerplatte Peninsula we will walk to the Monument of the Defenders of the Sea passing the small cementary of Westerplatte defenders and guard houses.
Programme can be changed according to your request earlier or before the start the tour and the entrance to other chosen objects like: Main Town Hall, Amber Museum, Uphagen House, Maritime Museum can be included additionally.
If the change affects the tour time prolongation additional price USD 35/hour will be paid at the end of the tour.
Please note that tour is available the whole year (and not only from April to October)if transport by car to Westerplatte is provided

We can meet

- at the reception of your hotel in the centre of one of Tricity towns (Gdańsk, Sopot or Gdynia,
- at Gdansk Glowny Railway Station,
- at Gdansk Airport,
- in other agreed place.
I will keep in my hands the paper with your name and I'll have my guide ID.
End location: We can end the tour on Długa Street or in other place agreed.
After the tour you can go yourself to not visited during the tour museums, to have your dinner, to have a rest in one of many cafes, to go to cinema.
I recommend you golonka lunch (knuckle lunch)- the traditional Polish dish in the restaurant serving the best golonka in Gdańsk, famous pierogi (dumplings) or other traditional Polish dish.
1 hour break for your lunch or breaks for caffe/tea/beer can be done at any time.
I can assist you also in your return way to the hotel, if necessary.
Duration: 7 hours
Please note that museums are closed on Monday and the Main Town Hall and Artus Court can be closed at any time due to official meetings.
The duration can be affected by weather, crowds, many visitors in museums and St. Mary's Church etc. In case of bad weather conditions programme can be changed a little bit.
Duration for cruises passengers can be shortened to 5-6 hours.

Please note that mentioned objects in downtown are located close to each other and transport is not necessary.
If visa to Poland is required all visa formalities also related to ashore (according to Polish law) should be dealt before the coming to Poland and/or start the cruiser journey.
Visas for citizens of about 90 countries are not required.
