Here is one of the most photogenic for the Golden Pavilion with its reflection in the pond.
The pavilion consists of three different types of architecture.

It was built by the grandfather of the founder of the golden pavilion to pray for peace.
Its UNESCO World Heritage garden is one of the most famous Japanese gardens.

Our family had a very enjoyable and educational tour with Koichi. Koichi is knowledgeable about history and interesting facts about Kyoto and Japan. The pace of the tour was just right and he gave a very nice recommendation for a traditional Kyoto lunch. He also took great photos for our family which is a big plus for our day. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended!
