As an eighteen-year resident of the National Capital Region I have studied the history of the area, visited each of its important sites, and discovered extraordinary exhibits, archives, and artifacts not widely known to the public.
I'm a twenty-year veteran Navy Officer and graduate of the Marine Corps Command and Staff College. I'm now in my sixth year as a full-time professional guide. I live in Old Town Alexandria, VA with my two pre-teen children.
A Recent Review of this guide
This tour was the greatest. Tom was absolutely great and worth every penny. He met us and took us in his car all over D.C. Getting this tour was a 100% win since he knew all the spots to park, best areas for viewing monuments, the right time and place to be for each location...and best of all the stories and history behind all the different places. Recommend Tom to anyone looking to get a low stress high reward tour of the city in. Will be booking him again for a different tour next time we visit.
