Kid Friendly: Yes. Of course, but we might want to abbreviate the distances and number of sites, depending on age and interest level.
This is possible but will limit the itinerary, simply because of the distances to cover.
Maximum travelers: 10
The Capitol, National Mall and the White House with private guide
This is a shorter version of the Introductory Full-Day tour: In a half-day we can get a good idea of the National Mall and its main monuments: the Capitol, the layout of the chief museums, the White House and the Lincoln Memorial. Walking, Metro and a taxi ride -- and you will have a good idea what to see on your own later on.
Typically: (outside only) US Capitol, Supreme Court, Library of Congress, National Mall and Smithsonian museums, White House, Washington Monument, Vietnam War/Korean War Memorials, Lincoln Memorials; visit the Smithsonian Castle and maybe the beautiful Peacock Room.
We will be sure that when you are done you have a good idea of the layout of the city, where the museums or other places you plan to visit later are, and how to use the DC transportation system. And I'll give you a map!

Hayden is very knowledgable about the district and worked with us even before our tour to make sure that we had the best trip possible. He was extremely accommodating and met us right at our hotel. It was a pleasure learning about the history as well as the future plans for DC!
