As a second-generation Washingtonian, I know my city very well. I've been involved in DC's tourism industry since 1988.
A tour with you will be to see DC's many iconic and memorial sites along the National Mall (not a shopping mall). Some will be familiar and some to which it will be my pleasure to introduce to you. We may also visit some of the residential and commercial neighborhoods.
I am looking forward to sharing the city with you.
A Recent Review of this guide
On September 9, 2018, Bill took 6 of us on a 4 hour tour of DC in the pouring rain. We were so lucky to have Bill as our tour guide. His knowledge of DC and everything connected to it was amazing. He started talking as soon as we were all in the car. It seemed like he knew the history and current info of most major buildings around. Two places really stand out in my mind: The Pentagon's 911 memorial and FDR's memorial. We could not have really appreciated what we were seeing without Bill. He was great.
