Be Amazed: Poignant, Provocative, Powerful and Fun
We'll start our tour at the President's house. Ever wonder how the nuclear codes are transfered after the inauguration of a new president? The White House is full of stories about the presidents and their families.
We'll then visit Congress' house. It's no surprise that the home of our legislators towers over the others. Who are these people who make up our laws and how did their history shape ours? The Supreme Court is known to be the highest "court" in the land. Find out why that is not entirely true. Are the tweets you've been sending to friends being saved by the Library of Congress for historical and cultural purposes?
Then join me in stepping into America's front yard to delight in the history and events as told by our national memorials and monuments. Every memorial has its own unique story. We'll discuss the national figures behind the memorials, the history surrounding their time in history, a couple individual stories, and some surprising facts about each.

Our DC tour with Susan was fantastic. Our three kids are 8, 8, and 12, and she really took the time and effort to customize the tour to our family. The kids were very interested in what she was saying, and enjoyed the tour tremendously. We would have never accomplished this on our own!!! Susan has a very easygoing style, but also very organized and thorough in her approach. It is truly a talent to be able to guide both kids and adults and leave everybody happy. We are all so glad that we booked this tour!
