a 4 hour walking tour

Walk with me to discover the most important sights that have shaped the history of this vibrant city. See the print left by the founders of Oslo in its medieval architecture to appreciate why this costal commercial settlement got the status of capital of the Norwegian Kingdom. We will walk through 700 hundred years of history encapsulated in a Fortress that has guarded the city from raiders and soldiers alike. This amazing building has witnessed occupation and grandeur from the 11th century until today.
Experience renascent times Oslo looking at the city's first stone constructions and see a sample of the different building methods used in Europe at the time. Feel the atmosphere of the many restaurants and cafes that have taken over this renascent town in today's Oslo.

Don't miss the opportunity of taking a picture in the internationally known City Hall where The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded every year.

A Recent Review of this tour

Victoria was terrific. She seems an unlikely host since she isn't native to Oslo, but she clearly loves her city and knows how to share it with others according to their tastes. My wife and I like to walk, and Victoria took us on several great walks, including one that was among my favorites of all time. After 4 days with Victoria I think we not only covered the highlights of Oslo, but got to know it much more intimately than the average short stay tourist.
