This tour allows you to explore the Snaefellsnes Peninsula and the Snaefellsnes National Park, famous for its glacier and volcano through which Jules Verne's fictional expedition to the Center of the Earth started.
Experience wonderful Icelandic scenery, such as lavafields, a ring-walled crater, cinder cones, columnar basalt rock formation, peninsula coastline and fishing villages.
Snaefellsnes Peninsula (10-14 hours) - This route includes some wonderful Icelandic scenery such as lavafields, a ring-walled crater, cinder cones, columnar basalt rock formation, peninsula coastline and fishing villages.
The route encircles the volcanic cone Snaefellsjokull which last erupted 1800 years ago. The crater is the entrance to the center of the earth, according to French novelist Jules Verne who wrote the book The Journey to the Center of the Earth.
The price is based on 10 hour trip. The following can be added.
