Folklore Vikings and the City Hall
The tour will start at the city hall of Oslo, famous as the location that present every year the Nobel Peace Price. The city hall with the beautiful fresco paintings and capturing art that present Norway's history and mythology.
From there we will use the public transport to Bygdøy peninsula and visit our old heritage the Norwegian Folklore museum, that is the world's oldest and largest open air museum that have a collection of various building and dwelling from different parts of Norway. Where the oldest dwelling is 950 years old. In addition we will enter a Stav Church from the year 1200 one of the 29 Stav Churches that still exist.
From the Folklore museum we will have a short walk to the Viking Ship museum, our oldest heritage from the Viking's time can be seen there. The three excavated Viking Ships and the remains of the grave mounds funds are the best kept in the world.
The tour will end at the city centre.
We will start our tour at the Folklore Museum from there we will continue the our most imported museum in Norway, the Viking Ship museum. We will return to the downtown and visit our present most modern City Hall that will include learning about our modern history during the WWII.

This is a walking tour with use of public transport bus or ferry to the peninsula.
For additional costs I will be able to provide a privet car or mini bus

270 Norwegian Krones (NOK) - Fee entrance to the Folklore museum and The Viking Ship museum and bus tickets to and from the peninsula.
In Norway you need a professional driver license to drive guests against payment. My tours are either by public transportation, walking, or we need to hire a car with driver.
