Viennese highlights for those with limited time

This tour gives you a quick overview of the most important sights in Vienna. We will walk through the city Center with all the important sights that Downtown Vienna has to offer: You will see St. Stephens cathedral, the imperial palace, the Vienna State's Opera and some of the most beautiful parts of the famous ring road. Since I will point out interesting places and Shops, such as coffeehouses and Restaurants, but also Museums and more, you will be able to explore Vienna on your own after having been with me. I want to enable you to browse through our beautiful city with some more profound ideas

From the Opera house, a prominent building on the famous ring street, we walk over the Kärntner Strasse and some more quiet places up to the very heart of Vienna, St. Stephens square with the wonderful gotic cathedral. From there, we stroll down over the poshest street, the Kohlmarkt and will face the beautiful neobaroque fassade of the imperial palace. I am going to show you some museums right in that building before we walk through the inner courts of that immense complex and head onto the most beautiful part of the ring street with gorgeous views to the parlament and the city hall. I will then show you the place of the white Lipizzan horses that dance in the Spanish Riding school. Then we will head back to the Opera house

Meeting Location + Tour Duration

Meeting location: in front of the Vienna state's opera, main entrance (ring street side).
The official address is: Wiener Staatsoper, Opernring 2, A - 1010 Wien

End location: again at the opera house

Duration: 2 hours

in case the weather is really bad such as pouring rain, we might skip some of the outdoor sights and I will rather show you churches or other places that are free to visit. Please note that this tour will also take place when it is either very hot or cold
