Let's explore the real Viennese flavour

A tour on the Naschmarkt is certainly great fun and you will get authentic Viennese Food impressions. Vienna's best-known market has around 120 market stands and restaurants for a colorful culinary offering ranging from Viennese to Indian, from Vietnamese to Italian. The Naschmarkt has developed into a meeting point for young and old. The Flea Market on Saturday is already a cult event.

We will discover the stands of the Viennese of course, and see, smell and taste the Viennese specialities on the market, like vinegar, Sauerkraut, Viennese Sausages and Viennese wine. Together with my dear friend and expert on the Naschmarkt, Jürgen, we will get in touch with the local Producers.
The area around the Naschmarkt is culturally interesting, so we will see the oldest opera house, and very nice Art Noveau Houses, and the Secession building - nicknamed "cabbage head".

We start from your Hotel, take public transport to beautiful Charles' Square, with baroque Church, and the Musikverein, Concert Hall of the Vienna Philharmonics, passing by Art Nouveau Seccession Building, 15 minutes walk to reach Naschmarkt.
Right at the market we see the oldest opera house of Vienna, "Theatre an der Wien" and other beautiful residenntial houses.
About two hours we will spend at the viennese stands of Naschmarkt, tasting three authentic Viennese products, plus a glass of Viennese wine "Gemischter Satz" or Viennese craft beer, if you prefer beer. Also non alcoholic beverages are available, for non-drinkers or teenagers.
