A food tour after the Italian tradition of the aperitif
When in Venice do like Venetians! This town is a human-sized community and helps a lot to socialize.
Thanks to its 400 bridges it is a unique pedestrian area. We simply run downstairs our office or flat, meet some friends or neighbors and don't miss the chance to invite them to a glass of wine and local tapas!
We love the idea of chosing a little bit of everything from an inviting counter displaying a large selection of size bites: cheese, fried seafood, vegetables, meatballs, bruschette. . . . . .
During this foot tour we stop at 3 different osterie (bacari) to enjoy some typical food. In some places you can just stand, in others you can take a seat but you have to leave the table free when dinner starts to be served. It's an informal, cheerful and crowded experience.
At the end of the tour you'll have enough of food and drinks and no need to have dinner.
I'll lead you in the choice of the drinks and the cichetti (finger food), according to your taste and what the oste (bartender) suggests.
