Get from your ship to Venice in grand style
Cruise ships don't stop long in every port of call and time to tour is often precious and limited.
And Venice is today the highlight of all your cruise, let's make the best of your shore excrusion then.
Leave the crowds behind at the cruise terminal on your own private boat and start the tour navigating through Venetian canals. This is the best approach to the city indeed. get breathtaking vistas of the city encompassed by the water and view century old buildings at close range from your boat.
Later on disembark in the most remote part of town where local life still rules outside the congested tourist area and get acquainted with the original Venetian urban fabric.
As we proceed further down in the central area we'll have plenty of time to describe all the major buildings that will pass through.
And conclude the tour in the famous St. Mark's square visiting the basilica with time indoors for a full description of this exceptional 900 years old building.
Soon after meeting me at the cruise terminal we'll begin the tour with a waterborne ride crossing Venice's main water areas and the Gran Canal.
Later on we'll start the walking part in the most secluded part of town where very few tourists ever get.
In this area you'll be introduced into the city's main characteristics but will also pass by significant spots like the Arsenal's gate and the cloisters of the Vigna Franciscan Church.
If you wish we can include also a visit into an old boat yard. (according to the owner's availability, never on Sundays).
As we approach at your own pace the main central part, you'll get a full description of all spots and areas we'll pass by.
A lunch stop will be needed at this point in a local place.
And here we are now in the celebrated St. Mark's square where the old Byzantine cathedral awaits us , a full commentary will be given while indoors.
And we can now conclude our tour arriving in the Rialto market area ideal for you to enjoy a rest sitting in an outdoors cafe.
