Yummy snacks and local wines around the Rialto area
When in doubt. . . have a spritz!
I will show you how we celebrate our favourite daily "ritual": APERITIF!
Around the market area there is so much to see! Learn about our local products and the fresh fish of our lagoon.
A visit to the market strolling around all the different sections (dairy, meat, vegetable and fish) is then followed by a super fast gondola ride to go across the Grand Canal like a real Venetian!
This is an occasion to live like a local and discover our traditions and our culinary habits.
Cicchetti, the equivalent of the Spanish tapas, were created centuries ago to accompany our good local wines and served in the many taverns around the market area. An authentic delicatessen!
The end of the tour can be sweet. . . everybody loves gelato!
The fish market is open from Tuesday to Saturday till 01. 30 pm. Please get in touch with me in order to book the tour.
This is a very flexible tour that I can adapt according to your hotel/apartment location.
Venice is full of good bacàri (local taverns) but I want to take you to the Rialto Market area, which is really nice in the morning!
We will reach the Rialto Market and will learn about our local vegetables and daily catches from our lagoon.
Then we will go for a nice aperitif standing: like a real Venetian!!! Here in Venice I will explain to you that we have a lot of room problems.
Finally, we will take the gondola ferry across the Grand Canal (if you're not seasick) and will visit another nice tavern where we will taste local snacks and local wines and we will end the tour in a nice place for a gelato or a good Italian espresso!
