The Islands of Venice and the secret of the Glass Manufactoring
The tour is an occasion to travel outside Venice by water taxi. We will experience how the Lagoon looks like from the "vaporetto" (watertaxi). It is a little longer tour, but we will have the possibility to enjoy the Islands of Venice: Murano and Burano are two of the most famous islands of Venice. First we will stop in Murano and visit old churches and glass factories where experts workers will show us how they blow the Venetian Glass, famous in the entire world. Later we will continue to Burano, the coloured island of fishers, full of beautiful little roads and natural views.
From the railway station in Venice, we will ride the vaporetto (water taxi) to Murano first and then to Burano.
We will visit the Church of St. Peter in Murano and a glass factory. Again by vaporetto we will continue to Burano, the island of fishers. After a walk in the quite little roads of Burano we will take the vaporetto back to Venice.

We had a terrific tour experience with Deborah! She was sensitive to our interests, extremely informed and engaging. We not only saw many things we would have otherwise missed, but understood so much more from the historical and social context Deborah provided. Her recommendations on restaurants, additional sites, touring strategies to maximize our time during the rest of our visit, etc. were invaluable. My wife and I can confidently recommend Deborah highly.
