Visit one of the most precious "Temples of Art" . A shrine to be explored strolling through the art of western society .
Collections added by Popes in centuries make of the Museums a unique place on Earth where explorers can get lost, so many are the marvels encountered. Plus, the rush and pushes of most visitors take away the pleasure of stopping to admire and deepen the art.
A slow-pace visit is what I tend to offer for it takes time to feel the work standing in front and my aim is to have you reach that feeling.
This is why I add a few corners such as the Gallery of art, the only place where you can see the great Leonardo's unfinished work, or Caravaggio, or Melozzo da Forlì or the Venetian Bellini. Giants in the history of art because they left to the others the Way and signed forever the Culture.
That's why I enter the Etruscan Museum; so to compare what man could do over 2500 years ago modeling ceramics or melting bronze to create statues.
Raphael is visible inside Giulius II apartment at his maximum value.
But the Greeks are here, with immortal pieces of unbelievable perfection and their "magic" is absolute

Luigi is a fun, personable guide who has extensive knowledge of art history and the history of Rome. It was delightful to spend the morning touring the Vatican Museum and St. Peter's Basilica with him. He also communicated well with us prior to our visit so that it was easy to find him at the museum.
