Unique collection

The Museum of Natural History is Gothenburg's oldest museum. It was established in 1833, when it was based on the collections of the Royal Society of Arts and Sciences in Gothenburg. The museum has a collection of about 10 million animals and the permanent exhibition shows a wide selection of the Earth's fauna, from single-celled amoeba to the proud African elephant in display in the centre of the mammal
The marine section displays a young blue whale and in the department on human development we meet a scale replica of Lucy.

We will walk in the center to the museum (which has a few floors of an unique collection) after watching exhibition we ll be back to the central part.
