Let me introduce myself, my name Anton and I'm glad to show you the most beautiful and interesting places of my homeland! Me, my wife, our two boys, four dogs and horses live in the picturesque place near the Ulan-Ude city. My hobbies are mountain climbing, hiking, dog sledding, horse riding, skiing, archery, history and ethnography. From childhood my favorite books about travel and adventures, so I decided the best for me is to make my hobbies my job.
And now tour guiding is my main occupation, I do it from 2002. I have a big experience organizing different kind of activities in Baikal region: hiking, climbing, rafting, horse riding etc, as well as short and long sightseeing excursions. Usually I work as a private guide with English speaking small groups or individuals, also I can speak a little bit of Chinese and Mongolian. Distances in Siberia are great but roads sometime more look like directions) and my 4 WD minivan helps me and my guests feel more confident.
Baikal region is a very unique place, it has almost all kinds of landscape for all kinds of activities: snow-caped high mountains and deep caves, endless primitive forests "taiga" and wide green steppes, the pearl of Siberia - Lake Baikal and numerous big and small rivers. But as well as natural treasures, Buryatia is rich in historical and cultural values. From ancient times different cultures and nations changed each other. Today Buryats, Evenks, Russians, shamanists, buddhists, christians and muslims are live here together in peace.
Now Ulan-Ude, the capital of Buryatia, is a meeting point of West and East cultures, and only one city in Siberia that has special national features.
I will be happy to give you an opportunity to get acquainted with my sunshine country and its hospitable people! All my tours can be customized upon request, don't hesitate to ask.
Welcome to explore Baikal-Buryatia!
