Museums / Culture, City
Kid Friendly: Yes. The tour and explanations are more geared for adults but can be easily modified for older children. This is not a "kid's tour".
Please keep in mind that we will be in a crowded gallery for 3 hours.
Please note that Florence is not completely wheelchair friendly. There are ramps and elevators, and the staff is very accomodating, but some difficulties exist. I have done this tour many times with clients in wheelchairs and it has always been fine.
Please also note that persons in wheelchairs and one accompanying person are granted free tickets.
Maximum travelers: 8
Italian (fluent), English (fluent)
We will visit Florence's most important gallery and see a wide selection of paintings and sculptures that illustrate the city's history and the changes in the way art was made and used throughout the ages.
(Please note that backpacks and full sized umbrellas are not allowed in the Uffizi. These items will have to be checked but the cloakroom is often full. So, if possible, it's best not to bring them along. )

We loved getting to see the Uffizi with Laura! She was great with our kids and had so much information to share--I know that everyone in our family will forever remember this amazing visit, which helped us to navigate through the immense amount of art history that is in the Uffizi.
