Halfday tour of two UNESCO sites
This is the basic tour for understanding Dalmatian history and culture.
Trogir is a charming town, located on a small islet, named by the ancient Greek colonists. It has been on the UNESCO world heritage list since 1997.
We will walk through preserved Romanesque-Gothic streets, enjoy the seaside promenade and admire its old castles, churches and other significant buildings.
The city of Split is the second largest city in Croatia.
The origins of Split is still unknown. One of the most successful Roman Emperors called Diocletian decided to build a Palace in Split and retire. His palace, UNESCO heritage site since 1979, is still inhabited by locals and attracts millions of visitors.
We will explore the secrets of the Palace by walking, visiting museums and Roman temples. The area of the Palace still holds traces from each part of Dalmatian history. After this tour, you will know it all.
