Jewish community played an important role in Trieste's economic and cultural life for centuries. At the peak it had 6. 000 members.
On our walk we'll visit the Europe's largerst Synagoge in oriental stayle and see the museum 'Carlo and Vera Wagner' which played an important role during Nazi-Fascist era in II. WWW. Jews called the port of Trieste the "Door of Zion". There is also one monument of hight importance and commemoration - Risiera of San Saba, the only Italian concentration camp with crematorium. We will finish our tour with the walk through the Jewish Ghetto and enjoy a cup of coffee in the local cafeteria.

Depanding on your wishes, we can start and end the tour the time suites you.
Walking tour. Except the visit to Risiera di San Saba where we'll use my car or provide a taxi.
