I spent most of my working life in Belfast employed with the government. In 1997 I moved to Dublin with my young family and raised my three children there. I live in the Liberty Quarter in the shadow of its ancient centre; over the years I have come to know and live this part of the city and I incorporate this into my tours. Trinity College, Kilmainham Jail, the Cathedrals, the Walls of Dublin, the Royal Hospital, Guinness and Jameson and Dublin are within a stones throw from me.
Over the years I have built up local knowledge and contacts. I have also unearthed secret and special places off the beaten track and outside the normal experience. These special places enhance my guests' experience and my philosophy is to cover as many sites and sights as possible to greater enhance my guests' precious time. All of my tours can be fully customized to meet my guests individual requirements and preferences.
On a personal note I have lectured and broadcast on aspects of Irish history and heritage. My forte is to focus on these aspects of Ireland rather that the usual fare. So if you want a genuine and insightful local that's me. I live and have lived in these wonderful places. We will meet local characters and experts along our way who will enhance my guests' experience. My guarantee to you is that you will garner an in-depth appreciation of all things Irish from an authentic local guide.
I look forward to welcoming you on one of my tours soon!
