I am an Art Historian with a degree at the University La Sapienza of Rome (2007) and a specialization in Contemporary Art. I have been working as a Qualified Guide since 2010. I followed later Didactics Art classes to identify which is the best way to pass on my knowledge to people, and I experimented with different target each other: individuals, families, large groups, schools, people with disabilities, companies in meetings, religious orders.
The city of Rome presents a unique cultural treasure in the world that is not enough to visit it with a simple map and a camera to understand it, because it has a unique history but many lives to tell.
My intent is to tell you this by making you live a memorable experience: workshops of mosaics and craft shops are waiting for you!
From antiquity until today we can enjoy together the archaeological Rome (Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine), Christian Rome's medieval or baroque churches, the squares and fountains of Rome, the modern city, with its contemporary museums, beautiful countryside outside the city and their products of wine or oil, all customized to your interests and needs.
I love sharing the goodness of our local food so get ready to taste something together.
When I'm not working I take care of my three children and I love spent time in the countryside nearby Rome.
A Recent Review of this guide
We went on a tour with Francesca all over Rome. She is excellent. We really enjoyed the tour and the explanations. Our driver Andrea was also great. If we return to Rome someday, I would definitely want them to be our guide and driver again. 100% satisfied. 10 out of 10. Regards, Bernie and Yannina
