I have traveled to 40 countries, speak several languages and have devoted my life to great food and drinks. Through so much traveling you really learn how to get to know a city intimately and efficiently. Now, back in Toronto, I know the city so very well indeed and I can't wait to introduce you to her.
I come from a theatre background and have taught ESL abroad. Currently I work as a server/sommelier in a high-end Toronto restaurant and as a full time guide with a wine tour company. Toronto is a city with few famous attractions, but with so many rich and diverse neighbourhoods to discover. Just a few hours from the city you can find two world-class wine regions, fantastic breweries, Niagara falls, and many other charming and historic towns and cities.
On a tour with me you will tap into the heartbeat of the places you visit, enjoy with your senses, touch, smell, sight, and taste, and surely have some great organic conversation along the way. Most of my tours are themed around food, wine, or other beverages. I like small, intimate groups, but can host up to maybe 20 upon request, depending on your desires. I have listed several tours but all of them are flexible and customizable in terms or timing, content, and location. Don't hesitate to contact me so that we can craft your perfect tour.
In Toronto it is easy to walk or use transit, but I have a 7-seat SUV (quite swanky I might add) to take you around the city or to the nearby wine regions.
I also love art and history, design, politics, a great novel, afternoons in the park, TRAVEL, trying new things, and coffee and cake every afternoon. No take out coffee! Unless we are driving to wine country together. Looking forward to meeting you.
