My favorite spot to enjoy cherry blossoms and a vast field of canola flowers
The symbols of spring in Japan are the beautiful pink cherry trees, called Sakura. I'd like to take you to my absolute favorite spot to view Sakura located just outside of Tokyo. I personally take my mom to this incredibly beautiful place every spring. When it's in full bloom on a sunny spring day, It almost moves me to tears and it feels like I'm in la-la land.
Let's walk through an endless cherry blossom tunnel while there are fields of canola flowers on the outside of the trees. The contrast between the pink blossoms and yellow flowers leave many visitors speechless.
Hanami (cherry blossom viewing) is a picnic held under the cherry trees with friends and family admiring sakura. It's our way of appreciating the fact that spring has come and it's a visual reminder that our lives are fleeting like Sakura so embrace any given moment.
・Sakura park - stroll through over one-kilometer sakura tunnel with canola flowers
・Lunch - enjoy a traditional picnic, called hanami with a delicious bento box
・Asakusa - tour ends in Asakusa. This is a nice spot to view cherry blossoms illuminated at night.
