I have been a wine and food writer over 20 years after getting BA of American Literature at University and traveled through more than 30 countries (mostly in wine regions). After publishing my first book on natural wine, I stopped and smelled roses. . . . and realized the real charm of my neighborhood "Yanesen-one of the impressive Old Quarters in Tokyo" . "I am destined to be a guide to share the quality of Japan including my neghborhood!" . Now I guide in high season and on demand in slow season, while focusing on writing in mid summer & mid winter.
I have developed and deepened my devotion to Japanese tradition through attending Japanese cookery course (15 years), tea ceremony (3 years), and Kimono dressing class (4 years in total) ,
Showing around Tokyo in several aspects with the knowledge of Japanese tradition and youth culture would be my calling.
