Born in a country where tourism was more a dream than reality, l visited The Historical Kruja Castle at the age of 10. Visiting the museums inside the castle, l heard a lot of stories about heroes, l learned about people's life centuries ago. Years later, memories of that visit and of the history and tradition of my country, inspired me to become a tourist guide, to show and tell the visitors & tourists how beautiful My Albania is.
That's why l started working for a travel company as the Operational Manager. Besides arranging all the ground services for many groups and private tours, sometimes joined them as their local guide in many places around the country. This "Call of Action" made me reach the right decision, being a tourist guide. Since then, I followed different training courses on how to become a tourist guide, which successfully l continue to do even today.
I feel very pleased, happy and proud to guide visitors and tourists all around my lovely country. I could guide you for a few hours on different shore excursions or half day tours in the cities and sites like Tirana (The capital), Durres (The Roman Ruins), Berat (City of Thousand & One windows), Kruje (The town of Scanderbeg), Apolonia(One of the ancient cities dedicated to the God Apolo), Elbasan(The ancient station along the Via Egnatia) etc etc.
I may also arrange long tours all around Albania including the Southern Riviera, The Archaeological Park of Butrint, The Stone city of Gjirokaster, The Albanian Alps etc.
Kosovo is like a second home for me, so l could easily drive and guide in many cities and sites around Kosovo like Decani Monastery, City of Prizren, The White Drini River Waterfall, The Gadime Cave etc.
As a volleyball player once, I love sports, so walking, hiking and biking are parts of tours which l can arrange for my guests.
Off season l travel a lot as a tour leader for many groups abroad in the Balkans and Europe. This is why I'm very familiar with many sites in those places.
I'm a very good driver too. Driving since the age of 18, besides of driving my own minivan of 6 seats, l could easily hire bigger vans up to 9 or even more seats.
Anyone who wishes to visit Albania and book a guided tour can contact me about the right itinerary and make sure he/she gets a tailor-made itinerary, according to one's interests.
I'm inviting you to come and visit Albania, not because you will find here "The promised Land", but a small piece of heaven on earth you definitely will find and we can explore it together. So please accept my invitation and Welcome to Albania, to the Land of Eagles, Land of The Albanians.
