Half day tour to Zipaquirá and its Unique Salt Cathedral
Taken the road to the north of Bogotá and crossing by the exclusives neighborhoods, we get the green savahna full of cattle and agricultural farms.
We pass by the Marroquin Castle and the Common Bridge (1. 792) on the Bogotá River, we also pass by a couple of colonial towns as Chía (Moon) and Cajicá (Fort of Stone).
The names come from the language spoken by the natives. We continue directly to the Salt Mine where we go inside the Tunnels and Galleries open by the miners in times of production and along with them, we will see the cross stations carved in the natural salt rock.
These impressive sculptures lead us to the huge naves where the Cathedral was built in the natural rock.

My wife and I had an enjoyable stay in Bogota thanks to our two terrific tours with Fabio. He was knowledgeable, informative, and very fun to spend time with during our visit. Fabio was also patient and accommodating to my wife who has physical limitations. The Salt Mine Cathedral experience was particularly entertaining and interesting. We would highly recommend this tour, especially with Fabio.
