This was our 2nd day with Mateja. We had a great day, walking 8 miles and seeing many interesting monuments, museums, and neighborhoods. We pestered Mateja with questions concerning Yugoslavia, WWI, WWII, how Slovenia became a country, and about the how the government is structured and representatives to Parliament selected. She answered them all, providing us with lots of historical and current information we were unaware of. Mateja is an excellent guide. We will engage her again if/when we return.
