Paul Revere's Ride to Lexington & Concord, this is the quintessential Revolutionary War tour!

Sharing my knowledge of American history is one of my greatest passions! Join me as we travel back to the time of muskets, redcoats, and horse & buggy. We visit the sites of the legendary conflicts that helped spark a revolution. We begin where Paul Revere began his famous ride: the North End. Retracing his ride, we visit Lexington, where you will walk on Lexington Green before continuing to the Old North Bridge. The skirmish at the Old North Bridge was the site of the first shot of the American Revolution, famously dubbed the "shot 'heard round the world" by Ralph Waldo Emerson in his "Concord Hymn. "

There are many classic, historic homes, taverns, and monuments along the way. We will return to Boston via the route that the British soldiers took after these initial skirmishes. We will witness the glory of Bunker Hill Monument and Dorchester Heights, and other sites too numerous to mention them all. I am more than happy to add narration and stops based on your interests, simply let me know!

A Recent Review of this tour

I chose a tour with Smitty for my husband and myself while on a short stay in the Boston area. We wanted to see all the historical sites and get a grand overview of the area. Smitty took us to all the interesting places in Boston and we were able to see so many sites that we could have never found on our own! We began at 8:30 and arrived back at the hotel at 5pm, tired but very happy! Smitty is delightful, informative, and highly entertaining! We are so grateful and feel like we have made a new friend!
