The Highlights of Florence in 4 hours.

A short time to spend in Florence? Never mind.

With "the Best of Florence", you can see and visit the most remarkable sites of the town in four hours.

We start with the Accademy to admire the original David and the Four Slaves by Michelangelo (about 45 minutes), then we continue with an Orienting Walking Tour of the historical center (Cathedral, Baptistry, Giotto Bell-tower, Dome by Brunelleschi, Republic Square, New Market, Old Bridge, Signoria Square) and finally the Uffizi Gallery to admire its highlights: Giotto, Gentile da Fabriano, Masaccio, Filippo Lippi, Sandro Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo (about 1 hour and half).

Itinerary

Visit of the Accademy Gallery, Orienting Walking Tour of the historical center of Florence, Visit of the Uffizi Gallery.

Important remark: to enter churches, shoulders and thighs must be covered.

Meeting Location + Tour Duration

Meeting location: In front of the Academy Gallery.

End location: Inside the Uffizi Gallery (West Wing).

Duration: 4 hours

This tour can't take place on Mondays, as Accademia and Uffizi Gallery are closed and the first Sunday of every month as entrances are free and reservations are not allowed. This means very long waiting lines (many hours).

Important remark:
- September 2018: the starting time can vary, depending on the Accademia tickets, as many dates are already sold out in the morning.

A Recent Review of this tour

My mother and I were visiting Florence for the first time and had a lovely tour with Mila. She was very sweet and knowledgeable about art history and Florence history. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her.
