Immerse yourself in a day of Chinese culture with private guide and chauffeur on this 8-hour Xian highlights tour. Besides the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that many consider the eighth wonder of the world, visit traditional cave homes and China's only underground museum - the Tomb of Emperor Jingdi.
The tour starts in the morning in order to be able to do a lot for the day. Start the excursion by meeting your private guide at 9 o'clock in the morning at your hotel.
Then you will head out together to the Terracotta Warriors Museum aboard an air-conditioned vehicle. Upon arriving, have the chance to go into the three excavated pits wherein you can see thousands of earthenware soldiers and horses that comprise the Terracotta Army. Regarded as one of the Eight Wonders of the World, each of these sculptures has unique features.
From here, proceed to your next stop which is a traditional and ancient cave dwelling that is one of the best-preserved of its kind in the area.

Lily was a fantastic guide, she was very well versed in the history and culture of the region, but well beyond that she was an excellent conversationalist. She was willing to move at my pace, and made an amazing restaurant recommendations for lunch and beyond. Also she provided a very comfortable car for our trip. I usually like to leave some sort of future growth type comments, but I just can think of any. Top notch experience.
