Half Day Tour
This tour departs in Albuquerque and is an hour drive to Tent Rocks. We will pass Santo Domingo Pueblo and Cochiti Lake Dam. The hike starts in the foothills of the Jemez Mountains, we will hike through a winding slot canyon and past towering "tent rocks". The only way I found to describe the experience is we left New Mexico and landed on another planet. This is a New Mexico Local must see destination.
Tent Rocks tour will depart in Albuquerque, it is about an hour drive. The hike is approximately 3. 5 miles round trip and is moderate hiking. Parts of the trail in the winter months might a little bit treacherous, but can be hiked. This hike tops out overlooking the Rio Grande Valley and the Sandia Mountains off in the distance, very beautiful view.

David is a great guide! He would observe his clients' preferences and customize a tour for them. I enjoyed his arrangement very much. Also apperciate his flexibility and willingness "do a little extra" to help his clients to explore NM! I had an amazing exploration with David the local!
