Aguamansa forest path
This interesting tour is for those of you who plan to stay in the northern regions of Tenerife. It is designed travellers who would like to walk in one of the island's beautiful forests. It will take us meandering through a variety of crops and traditional farmland before entering the dense pine forests.
Once we arrive close to the Aguamansa trout farm we will put on our hiking shoes and begin a gentle climb into the pine forest. There are two options. One is a four hour walk with one or two steep ascents on the Candelaria pilgrimage path. The other is slightly gentler and mostly on easy walking tracks.
Both walks take us through the dense and enchanting forest, with lichen hanging from the pines like Christmas decorations and an interesting display of flora. We finish in amongst small farms, chestnut trees and fields. The landscape and scenery changes constantly in this unspoilt corner of Tenerife. At the end of the walk, if requested, we can sample some delicious local cuisine and wine.
Our itinerary will depend upon where you are on the island. I would send you a customised itinerary independantly and via the ToursByLocals messaging system.

Estimated Local Cash Needed
15 Euros - You should only require local cash if you decide to stop for lunch along the way, although credit cards are accepted.
Extras may include a very reasonably priced lunch at a local inn as well as any other stops for beverages or meals.
I am not a mountaineer so would not be able to take clients mountain climbing, for example up the slopes of Mount Teide, but I can, of course, take you on the cable car and walking along the many mountain and coastal tracks in Tenerife.
