Get to know the person behind the tour

Tbilisi, Georgia

Hello! My name is Ia. Guiding for me is not just a job but also a passion.

It has given me an opportunity to find out so much more about my own country and fall in love with it more and more, meet new people, learn about completely different cultures and grow as a person. Since a tradition of hospitality has been always a very important part of our culture, I am not an exception. Like every Georgian, I feel a responsibility as a host to let my guests experience true Georgian hospitality.

Myself, I love traveling and with this job it has become my lifestyle. Knowing every small corner of my country and still discovering new things makes this work so exciting for me.

Georgia is one of the three countries in the south Caucasus region. Located at the crossroads of Asia and Europe, it's possible to experience convergence of these two different cultures. Hidden away between Greater and lesser Caucasus Mountains with its fertile lands perfect for viticulture, full of natural or centuries old historical monuments. After numerous invasions and conquests, even after assimilating with different cultures, Georgia still has maintained its own identity and religion.

If you're searching for memorable and right amount of educational tours, delicious Georgian food and wine you're at the right place. I am quite flexible and can customize itinerary which will fit your interests, I like to take time and make something with good quality rather than being in a rush.

I hope I will have a chance to guide you in my beautiful country!

A Recent Review of this guide

Ia was a delightful guide as she showed us around the greatest hits of Tbilisi. She was warm and engaging as well as very knowledgeable about her beautiful city. She gave us a great insight into the history and culture of Georgia as well as answering our many questions as we went along through the day. She wasn't clock watching at all; the tour was at our pace. Her English is very good. Book her! you won't regret it.
