Get ready to leave Mexico City early in the morning to explore one of the biggest Caves in the world and a charming colonial town surrounded by big green mountains.
Inside The Caverns of Cacahuamilpa, you will see some of the most impressive stalagmites and stalactites formations in the world in a safe and unique environment. The place is now designed in a friendly way so that visitors can explore the area safely and without getting lost.
After an exciting walk inside the Caverns, we will head to the mining town of Taxco de Alarcon (just 30 minutes away) to walk around its colonial streets, admire the fantastic Santa Prisca church, have a traditional pozole for lunch and learn about its famous silver workshops and stores.
