Discovering the rich culture of Morocco!

Tangier and Asilah can make a perfect combination for a day trip to Morocco, due to the short distance between the two cities. Asilah is a charming small coastal town, founded by the Phoenicians as a trading post. Its white-washed medina surronded by Portuguse ramparts attracts large numbers of tourists.

The itinerary covers the main highlights in and around Tangier, notably the legendary Cave of Hercules and Cape Spartel, where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranen, and the junction between Africa and Europe.
The light and the coulors of the Kasbah of Tangier inspired many artists and painters, among them Eugène Delacroix, Henri Matisse, Kees Van Dongen. .
The Medina with its alleyways and narrow streets, and its vibrant Souks (food & crafts market), provides the flavour of Morocco, and a unique cultural experience.

The itinerary begins with an orientation tour through the center of the colonial town, and the residential district "La Montagne". After a mint tea break at Cape Spartel, and riding the camels, we will continue towards the legendary Cave of Hercules, then driving along the Atlantic coast to Asilah.
After lunch and an exploration walk through one of the best preserved medinas in Morocco, we will drive back to Tangier for visiting the kasbah and the souks.

A Recent Review of this tour

Andelmoghit was very professional and personable. Due to weather our ferry was cancelled and the next ferry was two hours later. I contacted him and he said no problem. Touring, we had a wonderful time. Our three 19 year olds said "best day ever"! Fortunately for us, abdelmoghit was on top of the ferry situation as our return was cancelled as well. He ensured we got on another company's ferry and handled the purchase & refund all transparent to us. We were fortunate to have Abdelmoghit as our guide.
