With a background in tourism studies, I have been working as a Freelancer Guide in Tallinn and Tour Leader in the Baltic States since summer 2005.
The city of Tallinn has been included since 1997 among the UNESCO World Heritage, thanks to its Old Town, which is one of the best preserved medieval cities in Europe. A city, which historically has always been a crossroad of western and eastern cultures, thanks to its geographical location that made it a strategical place for trades and markets. And during my work I not only enjoy showing all the most important monuments and points of interest of this wonderful city but I'm also passionate in sharing the emotions and vibes that the city transmits.
About me: I'm an easy going person, keen to always meeting new people, sharing my knowledge, culture and learning reciprocally from them.
My hobbies are history, sports, technology and innovation, TV series.
Do not hesitate to contact me for any inquiry or tour you might be interested in. I'll be looking forward to meeting and showing you this beautiful city.
A Recent Review of this guide
Mauro was a wonderfull tour guide on our bucket list trip to Tallinn. He was knowledgeable and friendly. Mauro was considerate of physical limitations and showed us the key sites. We were unsure what to expect in Estonia, but Mauro made use of every minute available. His command of English is excellent. We highly recommend Mauro as a tour guide.

If tour starts from cruise harbour, I will meet you at the harbour gate. This means that from the cruise ship you'll need to walk on your own towards the city, passing a souvenir market and some bus parking lots, up to reaching the port's gate
