Our group of four would each rate Michael a 6 or 7 or more if allowed! He is phenomenal! We had an exceptional day with him; learned so much about Rhodes and Greece. Also most famously we felt like royalty at the restaurant he recommended. Do not visit this area without Michael or a meal at Tsambikos!

We visited Rhodes in October 2019. Our guide Michael was excellent. He showed us so many wonderful sites around the island, and entertained us with his great knowledge of the island, it's history and culture. Not to mention he had some great stories to tell. Highlights of the journey included a stop at a pottery workshop, where he demonstrated the use of the greedy cup for us, and a magnificent lunch at a small local restaurant which satisfied our prime desire to experience the local people and cuisine.

We truly enjoyed our tour with Michael. He showed us the city of Rhodes before taking us to Lindos. Along the way, he kept us entertained with stories of how life is on his island. He is a very humorous man. After lunch, Michael took us to a beautiful spot for lunch before returning us to the pier. He stopped to buy us a bottle of the local wine which we very much appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent with him.

Book now! Once we met Michael, we were family. Knows the island so well and can suggest the perfect way to experience it. Suggestions were spot on, and we knew we were seeing everything as comfortable and efficiently as possible. Lunch suggestion - amazing. Time management - you can see twice as much as a bus trip. Genuinely friendly and funny we enjoyed his conversation. Completely customizable to your needs, for example, we mentioned that we have enjoyed the baklava, he took us to his favorite spot, wow

Michael was a great tour guide. We told him we didn't like crowds and wanted to go where most of the tourist do not go. He listened to us and took us to many out of the way places that we thoroughly enjoyed. He was knowledgeable, professional, and great company. Chuck

Michael was an extremely entertaining, informative guide who told wonderful stories and gave a terrific tour of the island, its people and its charms - including the best restaurant we ate at. He was flexible and also introduced us to natives and towns we found charming and Jon-touristy! He's the best!

Michael did a GREAT job of showing us around Rhodes! He picked us up right at our ship, the Seabourn Odyssey! He showed us the Rhodes gates and windmills and then on the way to Lindos, he made several stops for beautiful views! Anthony Quinn Bay was breathtaking! He shared so many wonderful stories and knowledge about Rhodes. For lunch, he picked a place that now after the trip, we can say was our favorite restaurant on the trip - Argos - right on the water. The food and service were spectacular!

Great experience with Michael In addition to an abundance of history about the area, we tasted great wine, local olive oil and had a great visit with a local pottery business that created some very nice hand made pieces. We also had an "out of the way" lunch and were provided a table right on the water and the view was incredible, as well as the seafood! It was a very fulfilling day and we would recommend Michael for any tours in this area.

A great tour with a history lesson included. A wonderful day with an equally wonderful man. Highly recommended!
Michael was an excellent guide for our Rhodes Shore excursion. He is so personable and knowledgeable and took us on an amazing day of sightseeing and experiencing some people and places (coffee made the Greek way by a local lady was a highlight). We had a delicious lunch overlooking the beautiful blue water and had time to shop for some handmade pottery etc. This is a tour not to miss.

Michael did exactly what a GREAT GUIDE should do. He kept us ahead and away from the maddening crowds in Lindros and allowed us to see what we needed and wanted to see, while also showing us and allowing us to enjoy interaction with charming local people in small Greek towns. We also visited a wonderful sea-side restaurant and had time at the end of the trip to stroll through the port-side old city. Great Day, Great Trip, Great Guide.

Michael was on time to meet us. One of our party of 3 wasn't feeling well at the time of pickup, but felt better 5 minutes after we'd left - Michael kindly returned to pick her up. We had a wonderful half day with him. He safely drove us from the Rhodes cruise pier to Lindos, Mt. Filerimos, an olive oil factory, and generally showed us around a good sized area of the island. He gave us great information and history all along the way and was a congenial host and companion. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing day with Michael. Knowledgable, flexible, understood our needs with a 2 1/2 years old kids and took us to places no tourist would normally go off the track just like we wanted. Authentic, beautiful and seeing hidden gems as well as the itinerary was not put in stone. We would definitely recommend having a private tour with him.

Surely there's no better guide in Rhodes than Michael, who deftly combined sightseeing with history, and humorous anecdotes, as he drove us along most of the eastern side of the island. We visited a wee bakery operated by a woman who'd had a tiny role in The Guns of Navarone (filmed nearby) when she was only three; enjoyed coffee in a contemporary bakery; did a bit of walking in Lindos, followed by a seaside lunch; and then a scenic drive back to our ship in Rodos.A wonderful introduction to the island!
Michael provided the four of us with a fabulous day in Rhodes. We relied on his suggestions for things to see and do and he planned a wonderful day for us, with a beautiful lunch by the water. I would recommend him most highly.

ABsolutely fantastic, We learned more about Greek History that we ever knew. And came home with special wine goblets, with holes in them, that we can explain to everyone. our favorite stop was the pottery shop and our new favorite appetizer, which we have shared with local Hilton Head chefs, is stuffed calamari tentacle. So much to talk about, we will recommend Michael to everyone.
