Hiroshi showed me the samurai way as we walked the post road. Try on a samurai helmet in the amazing museum. Visit a restored 18-room inn that hosted the emperor of Japan 150 years ago. See how the innkeeper lived, who sat where around the fire & why the DIL got the most uncomfortable tatami. Learn how fires were fought with cisterns & buckets- crucial when your house is made of wood & paper. Hiroshi even arranged a tea ceremony in the Buddhist temple (he knows the monk). Thank you for a wonderful tour!

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you so much for your review. I greatly appreciate your interest and understanding in Japanese culture . During the tour we shared wonderful time! In Japan many fascinating experiences are waiting for you. I am so looking forward to seeing you again. Wishing all of yours every happiness with all my hearts!
