The state of Queretaro has some interesting places where wine is produced. One of the most important wineries to visit in the area is Freixenet. In this place you will learn about the production of the local wines, which include red, rosé and white. The specialty of the house are the sparkling wines, and at the end of the tour, we will have a tasting of this wine.
In the cheese factory you will have an explanation of how cheeses are made, and we will have a tasting as well. .
The state of Queretaro has some beautiful small towns where you can feel a special atmosphere when you visit these places. Bernal and Tequisquiapan, which are the towns we'll see, are two good examples of this.

Aaron took us on the wine and cheese tour July 26th. He arrived promptly in his nice Nissan 4 door. He is an excellent driver and explains all the sites and interesting things as we drove around. We visited Bernal, Freixenet winery, Tequisquiapan (for an excellent lunch) and artisan shops. Finally we went to the cheese factory and tasted cheeses. Aaron's english was excellent and he made sure we had a great tour. He certainly deserves all the good reviews people have given him!
