Enjoy a complete tour of the D-day Beaches from Le Havre ( from your pier) US Sites only
I will meet you in Le Havre at your pier at 8AM.
First we'll stop at the American Cemetery at around 9. 30AM to spend some time paying tribute to the "Men of Normandy".
Visit of the Visitor's center.
Then, we'll walk on the Omaha beach and I'll explain you how that day was so awful for the Big Red One and the 29th Infantry Div.
Then, I will show the Higgins Boats ( Landing Crafts) just next to Omaha.
12. 30AM Lunch on Omaha Beach just by the National Guard Monument and by sector Dog Green exit D3.
After lunch on Omaha Beach let's head toward the Pointe du Hoc where the US 2nd Rangers took this crucial German strong point above the cliffs of Omaha beach.
Now, let's head toward Utah Beach to see where the 4th Infantry Division and Theodore Roosevet Jr landed and successfully took the beach in one morning.
There, you will visit the Utah Beach Museum, and see some actual German bunkers.
On the way back we'll stop for apple brandy tastings and a distillery visit.
