I'll give you something to write home about!
I'm a native New Yorker and I have a great love and knowledge of New York City from Broadway and all the major tourist attractions to Brooklyn and many lesser known but no less interesting sites. I'll show you sites and tell you stories illustrating New York's rich history and the part it played in the American War of Independence as well as share my intimate knowledge of the film and television industry in New York and sites where TV shows and movies are filmed. I really enjoy showing people around my great city, like a friend or relative in New York. You're here to have a great time and that's what I'm going to give you!
Disclaimer; If I must travel to you anywhere outside of Manhattan, Western Queens or North West Brooklyn, part of that travel time will count towards the stated tour time. Please contact me through the message feature here on ToursByLocals site before you book!
We may see Central Park, the Empire State Building, Times Square & the Theater District, Grand Central Terminal, Rockefeller Center, the World Trade Center site and the 911 Memorial, Wall Street, the Wall Street Bull, the Fearless Girl, the Statue of Liberty and The Flatiron District.

Matthew is a wonderful tour guide. We planned the tour together in advance. He met us as scheduled. He showed us many unique and interesting things in Central Park, even the smallest detail—a surveyor's iron pin! He answered all our questions and shared trivia as we walked around the city. He made perfect recommendations for places to eat before and after our tour. I will not hesitate to book another tour with him. Be sure to ask him why there are lions in front of the public library!
