Stunning views and incredible history on this special day tour


Our first stop is Stirling Castle! The most important Castle in Scotland. Perched on a volcanic plug dating back 350 million years, Stirling is the most fought over Castle in Scotland & if you're going to visit a Scottish Castle, it has to be Stirling Castle.
We continue to the rugged "Trossachs" A part of Scotland, describe as the Highlands in miniature. Full of Scottish Clan & Jacobite history, folklore and breathtaking views.
Loch Lomond is the Jewel of the National Park and superb for a walk by the famous "Bonnie Banks" lunch or a refreshment in the local pub.
We follow in the footsteps of Mary Queen of Scots & Queen Victoria as we travel along beautiful loch sides , passing mountains and glens. We may even come face to face with our legendary Highland Cattle (Hairy Coos)
The day is not complete without a visit to the famous Kelpie sculptures near Falkirk. The largest statues of horses in the world and truly spectacular.

Itinerary

First stop is Stirling Castle, in the beautiful town of Stirling, a 45 min drive from your collection point. After a 1. 5 - 2 hour visit, we continue into the Southern Highland, driving through some beautiful villages and historical sites.
A short photo stop at the 14th century Doune Castle ( Outlander filming location, Monty Python & the Holy Grail and also Winterfell in Game of Thrones)
We continue to the Trossachs, often described as the Highlands in miniature and in the heart of the National Park & home to many Clans & Jacobites!!
We follow in the footsteps of Mary Queen of Scots & Queen Victoria as we travel along beautiful loch sides , passed mountains, glens and we may even come face to face with our legendary Highland Cattle (Hairy Coos)
Our journey continues to the world famous Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond for lunch, a short walk and spectacular scenery.

Meeting Point + Tour Duration

Meeting Point Options: Rail or Bus Station, Cruise Ship Port, Airport, Hotel, Address or Intersection, Monument/Building, Suggested by Guide: i shall pick you up on the morning of your tour at your hotel, vacation accommodation or a predetermined point.

Transportation is in a very comfortable vehicle with A/C and lots of space for both you and your fellow travellers. Water is provided also.
