For people who LOVE food, travel and happen to be keen on a sustainable future and, want to give back to the city they visit.
A tour fit for food&drink lovers in San Sebastian, a food capital!
This will be like an edible story of the city, where each place, bite, sip and custom come to life so that you can experience part of San Sebastian's day to day, understand its past, culture, the importance of food in this beautiful city and become part of its future because with every food tour you purchase, you'll be donating a meal to a person in need.
WHAT WE'LL DO
•This is a foodie immersion in real, ordinary San Sebastian. Feel a real sense of community, get to know how locals live and eat as you learn about the history and culture in a less explored neighbourhood by visitors.
This tour and this city are extremely family and food you'll see!
•It's a 3-hour leisurely walk, where there's mostly eating and less than 10 minutes walk between each stop.
•Lunch or Dinner: We'll have 5-food-pit-stops which have been specially selected where you'll indulge and learn about the unique culinary tradition of going out for pintxos! You'll savour 5 pintxos, enough food for a full meal (*Pintxos pronounced pin-choss are like the Basque version of tapas, but we don't call them tapas!).
•Drinks: Five different alcoholic drinks are paired with the food. Non-alcoholic options are also available.
•With every tour you purchase, we also help a person in need by donating a meal at a local soup kitchen.

This was a most informative, delicious and fun walking tour. Cristina was very personable and knowledgeable; she was definitately a local, passionate "foodie" - the perfect person to lead such a tour. She shared all kinds of information with us, not just pintxos related, but about Basque language, customs, traditions, history, etc. Highly recommend this tour early into a visit to San Sebastian/Basque region.
