Magna Carta - Trilithons - King Arthur's Round Table
This tour is for hard-core history junkies only.
We start our journey from the port of Southampton, and travel through the New Forest, famous for the ponies, on our way to the medieval city of Salisbury. On arrival in Salisbury, we shall visit the 13th century cathedral, then make our way through the medieval city, learning about its historical buildings.
Next stop is Stonehenge, the Neolithic cathedral, where the Druids celebrate the solstices.
The last stop on our tour is Winchester, the ancient capital of Wessex, and home to King Alfred the Great. We will visit the cathedral, home to the 12th century Winchester Bible, and the Great Hall, home to King Arthur's Round Table.
